The Virtual Machine Shop

Standard programing word

A CNC programing word that is compatible with most machine controller manufacturers. This is a difficult standard to maintain today because of the expansion of complexity and utility in various controllers as well as the very large number of CNC machine manufacturers in the world today. An old standard still used by some is the EIA standard RS-232C. The Virtual Machine Shop tries to keep a modern standard that is compatible with the newest Fanuc controllers as well as Haas, Fadal, Cincinnati, and other mainstream CNC manufacturers.
